You can take a taxi orr rent a car to reach Cagliari Airport from the city center. If you prefer public transportation, it is possible to reach the airport in a short time at low costs by taking a train.
Taxi
It is always easy to get a taxi in the city center. Taking a taxi from the city center to the airport costs about 15-20 Euros. Taxi fare costs more at night. Transportation by taxi takes about 10 minutes under normal traffic conditions.
Rent a car
You can rent a car in the city center to go to the airport or you can deliver the rental car you have rented for your travel at the airport. Train
It is possible to reach the airport in just 6 minutes by taking a train from the city center. Tram number 6 provides transportation to the city center and departs directly from the terminal. The tram takes 11 minutes to get to the train station in the city center (Hauptbahnhof). One of the stops along this route is Bremen Am Brill, which is a 5-minute walk from the historic city center, where St. Peter’s Cathedral is located. From the main train station you can transfer to a train to get to Bremerhaven, which is known as “Bremen’s Harbor”.

Renting a car is another transportation alternative to get to the city center. There are 5 different rental companies that have offices at the airport, all of which are located in Terminal 3. You can also rent a bicycle and bike to the city center since it is located in such close proximity. Biking to the city center from the airport takes approximately 15 minutes. The airport features free bicycle parking areas in front of Terminal 2.
To drive to the city center by car make a left on Neuenlander Street once you exit the airport. This will take you to Langemarckstraße, passing directly over the Weser River, which splits the city into two, and going through the city center, which is where the central train station is located. The street named Hutfilterstraße after the bridge will take you to the historic city center.
