Transportation to Airport from Cusco City Center

Whichever mean of transportation you choose, the journey from Cuzco to the airport would last short. Renting a car and taking a local minibus might be an alternative to taxis, which are most preferred.

Velasco Astete Airport, Cuzco's only airport open for flights, offers a large number of different services, although it is not very large. The only terminal building of the airport is two-storey, but there are different shops on each floor. On the first floor of the terminal there is an exchange office where you can exchange Euro, Sterling and Dollar and the ATMs of the biggest banks in Peru. Another spot on this floor is called Snack Bar. Here you can taste different drinks as well as snacks. You can also take advantage of the comfortable seats, free wireless internet and food and beverage service at Club Lounge, which has an entrance fee.
On the second floor of the terminal there is a cafeteria called Cafeteria Aeropuerto which is spread over a very wide area. Here you can taste a wide range of snacks and hot food. You can spend time at the internet café where you can use computers and internet service, or at the book store where many books in different languages are available. This floor also hosts Galeria Latina, The Peruvan and Kuna stores where you can shop.
