Transportation to Airport from Xian City Center
Xian Xiguan Airport
Although the distance is long, you can easily get to Xi'an Xianyang International Airport from Xi'an city center. You can take the airport's private shuttle buses or public buses. Taxi is another alternative. If your budget is suitable, you can also benefit from your hotel's airport shuttle service.
Shuttle
Shuttle buses departing from eight different points take the passengers from central points such as train station, bus station and big hotels to get to the airport. You can learn departure points and times from your hotel, or contact the airport's Ground Transportation center.

Taxi
It is easy to find a taxi in the city center. The opening fare in the taxi is 9 RMB during the day, and 10 RMB between 23:00 and 06:00. 2 RMB per kilometer is added to the starting fare. Make sure you have enough currency to pay the taxi as you will need to pay the fare in RMB.

After it was decided that the city of Xi'an needed a large and modern airport, where international flights were also operated to and from, Xi'an Xiguan Airport, which had been serving the city for a long time with a considerable budget of about 8 billion yuan, was demolished and replaced by Xi'an Xianyang International Airport. Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, one of China's largest and busiest airports, is located about 30 kilometers from the city center.
At the airport there are all basic units such as health center, cash dispenser, and exchange office. If you have a connected flight or need some rest before your flight, you can use the airport hotel daily or hourly. If you have a lower budget, you can rent a suitable sleeping cabin. The airport has special areas for smokers. Free Wi-Fi network throughout the entire building is open for the use of passengers.
There are dozens of cafes, bars and restaurants throughout the airport, where you will find something to cater for your taste. If you want to evaluate your time by shopping, you can buy very different products from near the stores. Transportation to Jinan City Center from Airport

For traveling to the city from Jinan Airport, which is located 33 km away from Jinan city center, you can benefit from the buses or airport express buses which depart at more frequent intervals. If you plan to stay for a long time in the city, you can rent a car or take advantage of taxis and transfer services. It takes maximum 1 hour to reach Jinan city center from the airport.
Airport Express Bus
You can see many bus stops outside the Jinan Airport terminal building. There are two different types of buses that go directly to Jinan city center from these stops: the first one is airport express buses and the other one is normal city buses. Airport express buses provide service within the body of Jinan Airport, offer service at more frequent intervals and sometimes at much more affordable prices. You need to use the Airport Express 1 in order to get to the Jinan Railway Station and bus station in the city center. The ticket price of this bus is around 20 Chinese Yuan. These buses, which wait for their passengers at the exit of the first floor of Jinan Airport arrival terminal, reach the city in about 1 hour. Airport Express 2 also provides direct transportation to Jinan Central Bus Station, and the ticket price is again 20 Yuan. Lastly, Airport Express 3 goes to Jinan Yuquan Simpson Hotel located in the center and operates between 6 am and 7 pm. The travel lasts 1 hour.
City Bus
If the stops or departure hours of airport express buses are not suitable for you, after going outside the airport, you need to go to the stops where city buses depart. The bus, which operates between Jinan Airport and Dongying, takes 2 hours and 40 minutes, and the ticket price is 100 Yuan. If you want to use the bus operating between Jinan Airport and Zibo, you are asked to pay 55 Yuan. Likewise, there are also city buses that travel directly to Tai An, the transportation duration is 1 hour 40 minutes, and ticket price is 70 Yuan.
Taxi
Undoubtedly, the only way to reach the city center from Jinan Airport within the shortest time is to use a taxi or Uber system. After you have landed at the airport, you can go to the area where the taxis depart and travel to your destination in a short time. The majority of these taxis use taximeter. For this reason, there is not usually any chance to bargain on the taxi fare.
